2018 Scholarship Essay Question

Scholarship amount: $1,000

Deadline: September 14, 2018

To enter our scholarship essay competition, answer the following question in 300-500 words:

"Tell us the best advice you've received about driving safely and avoiding car accidents."

Eligibility requirements

  • You must be a U.S. resident or resident alien who is registered at a U.S. college or university.

  • Essays must be unique (not submitted elsewhere) and written by the scholarship application signator.

  • Applicants must read, understand, sign and return to us the (PDF) Davis Personal Injury Scholarship Essay Contest Application & Rules along with your submission.

  • Only one submission per student will be considered.

Scholarship selection process

Judges will examine all entries received by the deadline above. The winner will be selected within two weeks of the submission deadline. One winner will be awarded the scholarship amount, and notable entries may be published on the Davis Personal Injury website.

Get to Know Attorney Neal Davis

Neal Davis is a Board-Certified Attorney in the state of Texas. His specialty areas in personal injury practice include offshore injury, truck accident, car accident and wrongful death. Neal is a native Houstonian. He majored in Spanish as an undergraduate at the University of Southern California and spent part of his childhood in Mexico. He graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, Texas, and became licensed to practice law in Texas in 1999. Studying at the University of Texas not only prepared Neal Davis academically, but gave him the opportunity to meet his mentor, Dick DeGuerin.
